Technical Requirements
The minimum requirements are Pentium 500 MHz, 128 MB RAM, sound card and speakers and 40 MB of free disk space. A broadband Internet connection is required as well as web browser. A word processor and PDF file viewer are also needed. If you are going to take their course in Adobe Photoshop or other software, you must have that program installed.
Admission Requirements
Students have to complete an online application form. Their state issued ID must be submitted. The next step is to get information about the site’s scholarships and loans. They should also finish the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Applicants have to send their high school transcripts.
A college transcript is only required for credit transfers. The next step is course placement. This is used to assess the skill of the student. There will be evaluations based on your writing, math, tech literacy and reading skills. Course placement is unnecessary if the student took ACT/SAT within a period the last three years.
Acceptance
After going through those, an acceptance letter will be sent out. You will then meet with an advisor to prepare for the courses.
